1. Eligibility & Shopify Integration
You must:
- Be the legal owner or an authorized representative of a Shopify store
- Be at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction
You may not use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose or violate any applicable local, national, or international laws.
2. App Features
SEOpilot AI provides AI-powered SEO tools including:
- Meta content generation (titles, descriptions)
- Image optimization (ALT text, compression, resizing)
- One-click SEO issue detection and fixes
- Page speed and SEO scoring
- Auto-optimization of new products/media
- Optional integration with Google Search Console (when authorized)
3. Use License
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use SEOpilot AI within your Shopify store. You may not:
- Resell, sublicense, or distribute the App
- Modify, reverse engineer, or attempt to access the source code
- Copy or replicate the App or its components
- Use the App for any unlawful or unethical purposes
4. Data Use & Privacy
We access store-related data (product metadata, images, tags, SEO settings) to deliver optimization services. Customer/order data is never accessed or stored.
All data handling is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
5. Service Availability & Modifications
We reserve the right to:
- Modify, suspend, or discontinue the App (or any part of it) without notice
- Update features, algorithms, or functionalities as needed
- Limit functionality based on your usage behavior or plan tier
We are not responsible for any downtime, data loss, or performance impact due to third-party outages or Shopify platform issues.
6. Intellectual Property
All content, logos, algorithms, UI/UX designs, and trademarks within SEOpilot AI are the intellectual property of WebDesk Solution Limited. You retain full ownership of your store data and content.
7. Limitations of Liability
The App is provided “as is” and “as available.” We make no guarantees regarding ranking improvements or traffic increases.
In no event shall WebDesk Solution Limited be liable for:
- Lost profits or sales
- Business interruption
- Data loss
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App:
- At your request (e.g., uninstallation)
- If you violate these Terms
- If required by Shopify or legal order
Upon termination, access ceases immediately, and we may delete your optimization history unless required to retain it for legal or technical reasons.
9. Third-Party Services
Some features rely on integrations with:
- OpenAI (for AI-generated content)
- Google APIs (e.g., Search Console, optional)
Use of third-party tools is governed by their respective terms. We are not responsible for their availability or data handling practices.
10. User Feedback
Any suggestions, ideas, or feedback submitted to us may be used for product improvement without compensation or obligation to you.
11. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Canada, without regard to conflict of laws principles.
12. Updates to Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
